Stress is a source of disease. But, you know the symptoms of stress that often arise? "Stress can cause hormonal changes, immune problems, or muscle changes that occur silently" says Bruce Rabin, MD, PhD, medical director of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Healthy Lifestyle Program.

1. Bleeding gums
